    Newb w/99 T/A

I just traded in my '04 SRT-4 for a '99 T/A. My neon put out more power than the T/A but that won't be the case for long. I'll be doing some research to find the best mods to go with in the future. If anyone has any advice, I'm listening. Thanks

Thanks guys. I thought GM High Tech Performance was just a magazine.

What is the weakest part on the car that is going to break first when I get more power and how much power does it take to break it?

I'm not a big fan of blowers on a stock bottom end LS1. A cam only (let alone head and cam) LS1 will get you well into the 11s. If your cars a six speed you'll want a better rear end, clutch, and drive shaft.

Thanks, I hope to get well into the 10's. I have a lot of SRT-4 locals that were talking trash, so I would like to get into the 10's to silence the critics.

I have an auto. Does the auto hold up better than the 6 speed? I will more than likely be upgrading the rear before, or very soon after I get the blower.

The auto will hold up into the 10s for a while but most serious autos well into 10s or faster eventually all go with a TH400.
