    New WS6 Owner

    Hello everybody,

I am new here and just wanted to say hello. I am the proud new owner of a Black 2001 WS6 and I am so happy to have it and really glad to have found this site. I bought it about a month ago and it was all stock other than having 80 series flowmasters on it. I have already purchased and installed an SLP lid, JAAM kit and some dual exhaust tips. Before this I was driving a Solstice GXP but have always really wanted a WS6. I ended up having to sell the Solstice, and was able to get a great deal on the WS6. I have been navigating the site a bit and I want to thank everybody in advance for all of the great information that I am sure I will get from you all and I look forward to sharing the knowledge that I have as well. As far as what's next, I am looking into headers next. I want to do the TSP 1 7/8 headers and I will keep you all updated on when I get them and when I get them installed. If anybody can point me in the right direction as to where to get a good deal on them, it would be much appreciated.

    Thank you all.

Thank you for the advice, just out of curiousity, how hard was it to install the headers? What other mods do you have on your WS6?

Awesome, I can't wait to start working on my headers. If all goes according to plan, I will be getting them next month sometime.

Your car sounds exactly like mine. I purchased a black 2001 WS6 and the only thing aftermarket on her was a Flowmaster muffler. Haha. Welcome to the site!

    Welcome

    Congrats on the new car

Headers on these things can be intimidating, just be patient and remember many have done this successfully for themselves so when things get tough take break and think things through.

I did mine in my friends garage on jackstands with his help in March, the headers and tune were worth over 3/10ths in the 1/4.
