New to site
I've been hanging around gtoforum.com for about four years as it's gto specific and am cruising in here to broaden my horizons. I've owned my 05 M6 since new. It's got 22K and is stock but for the skip shift delete. Not a daily driver which may account for its trouble free history.

Thanks for the responses. I do enjoy reading about the experiences of GTO owners. IMO, one of the most underestimated, underrated cars ever produced.

I agree. I've said for a long time that the 04-06 GTO was GM's best failure. If they would've put more time into marketing the car and hadn't of rushed it into production they would still be selling them today. I think the name tripped them up quite a bit too. I think the name fits the car perfectly because of what it is and what the original GTO's were but unfortunately the masses didn't see it that way.

I think so too. On the other hand, I'm glad the car is fairly unique and becoming more so by the month -- if you go by the accident reports.
