Lemon Twist- 1965 Chevelle & 1970 Cuda
New to this site!
I am new to this site, but was recommended to it by a long time friend. I have a 1965 chevelle that I plan on doing the LS1 swap. I have owned the chevelle since high school and it used to be my dad's car when he was a teenager as well. I own my own business called E-Body Products, where I am a Sherman, AMD and Legendary dealer. I am currently restoring a 1970 Cuda, 1970 Challenger and recently purchased another 1970 383 cuda (bear with me here).
I just finished installing a 5.7 hemi into the challenger and it is now running.
I have already landed another 5.7 hemi and I want use an LS1 ECM to control the 5.7 hemi for this car. I also plan on installing a 5.7 hemi in the 383 cuda as well.
I really started getting into the fuel injection systems after doing the 70 challenger. I can't seem to get enough information about it and this is how I ended up here. I understand from hours of research that the LS1 engine management system is far superior to the Chrysler hemi version in regards to tuning and big power gains.
I look forward to chatting with everyone in the future and you can see my projects on my website. Sorry, but currently, it is an all Mopar site.
Hopefully, I can learn enough from everyone on LS1 to install the 5.7 usin the LS1 ecm.

Thanks for the great welcome. I have been looking the site over and you folks are doing some pretty amazing things, especially with the programming and tuning side.
Keep up the great work!

Welcome to LS1.com I would love to see some pictures of that Chevelle. It's awesome that it was your fathers and has been kept in the family.

Yea, my parents still have a picture of me in diapers sitting on the Moroso hood scoop. The car was original white and had aftermarket longitudinal side pipes back then. Today it is black and has a tired paint job. I used to drive it back and forth from college.
Sorry about the link to my website, I didn't really consider that advertising since it has restoration pictures of my cars and how to pictures as well. Anyway, didn't mean any harm. Also, I figured most folks on this site really weren't going to be calling me to buy mopar parts...

Here are a couple pictures of my cuda, which I have been working on. This is the car that is getting the 5.7 with hopefully a LS1 ECM. I have to figure out the details though, which is where you folks come in.
I almost have the car ready to paint, so the engine is just around the corner.
