New member in Seattle area
Hello,
I'm Joe, and I'm trying to put an '02 LQ4 into a '79 G-body car. Should be an interesting adventure. I've already got the engine, harness (stock), and accessories, and a 700R4 trans.
I'm looking forward to LOTS of reading here, and probably lots of questions too!
First, I have to decide what all I should do while she's still on the engine stand (before dropping it into the car). Cam? LS6 intake? Keep DBW, or swap to a throttle cable?
Lot's of decisions to make, so it's time for me to get smart!
I've got the SA Books LS1 Performance book, and I've read it cover to cover, so that's a start!
TIA all!
Joe
