    Unhappy new member with problem

Thank you for welcoming me into your community of owners. I come with a problem. I recently bought a 96 ws-6. It seemed to be in great shape, however I have recently incurred a problem..it won't start. Replaced the fuel pump(thought to be the problem) still nothing, it just turns over and no noise from new fuel pump when key is turned on. Any suggestions what to look for? Really frustrated as I just started getting to know this car.

G'day and welcome. If you can put a fuel pressure guage on it, you should see between 41-47 psi with the ignition on. If you aren't seeing any pressure, I'd start by checking the pump relay, and move on from there.

Recheck the wire harness. Make sure it's grounded. Also the regulator could have gone bad too.

    Welcome!

The engine needs fuel, air and spark to run. Start with the basics and work the problem. Check your fuel pressure while cranking, pull a plug or two and check for spark, inspect your fuses and relays for any blowouts, if there is an aftermarket security system on the car make sure that is not the issue, etc...
