new member needing help
new to the forum and new to owning a LS1...soon to be at least.
I did own a nicely modded 97 pontiac GTP putting down around 290 WHP. after building it and having fun for a while i decided i wanted "real" power...lol
i am now selling my Kawi 636 that way i can get the car sooner. It won't be until Jan when i buy, but i wanted to start reading up and learning as much as possible since i will be new. (try to keep the NOOB questions to a minimal...ha)
*now to my actual question.
i cannot decide whether to go with a GTO or a Trans Am. i love them both, and just can't decide. I will be looking at spending under 14K give or take a little. are there any pro's and con's to either? anything that makes one better than the other? what is the fastest and easiest way to start modding?
Thanks for the help, look forward to being around more often.

Welcome! I would have to say that I am biased towards a Trans Am... but that is just my opinion. Either way, you will not be disappointed.
I posted a list of some things to look for when buying a T/A in this thread: http://www.ls1.com/forums/showthread.php?t=118552 If you look, you can also find a thread posted by Hi-Po that covers some other items as well. Good luck in your search.
