Hello everyone. I received a 1999 Trans Am from my father last year. He bought it new, and had it in Florida for most of it's life. It shows only 43,000 miles and has never been in any kind of accident. I'm extremely happy with the car, and my son and I try to drive it and go to local car shows as much as we can. We did make it to the Trans Am Nationals in Ohio last year. It was way too hot to stay the whole weekend, but there were a lot of very nice cars being shown. Looking forward to learning as much as I can about these cars, and reading and sharing stories as they unfold. Also looking forward to the Woodward Dream Cruise once again this year

Nice T/A, and welcome to the forums

That's definitely a clean, low mileage car. A rarity these days for 98-02 F-Bodies. Looks like your dad took really good care of it.

Thanks for the welcome Yes, it was for sure his 'baby' for the time he had it. I'm happy and privileged to acquire it and hope to keep it in pristine shape with my son.

    Thanks guys!
I posted something in the 'appearance' section regarding my hood. In case you haven't seen it, I bought a very nice non ram air hood off craigslist today for a great price. The idea is to try and put something on the hood to bust up some of the real estate. My idea right now is adding this:
Camaro Z28 Fiberglass Hood Scoop, Mounting Hardware, & Grille Insert, 1978-1979
    What do you think?
