New member looking for options

Hello all,

I'm a firebird lover but I'm faced with an perdicument of wheather or not to join the LS1 family or not. Lets see what other people think of this...

A few years ago I had a 95 Firebird Formula (my baby). I loved the heck out of it but I had to get rid of it. Now I'm in a possition where I can upgrade cars, so I was considering getting a LS1 Firehawk and putting some nice mods on it (starting with turbo).

My other option is, instead of getting a older Ponatic and spending lots of money making it faster, should I just throw down the extra money and get a faster car without modding it, like a corvette or viper or something?

you can get a C5 for 15k these days...

If you have to ask you shoulkd just spend the money on a car that is already built-way better than dumping 2-3 times more than what you bought the car for.
