White- 1990 Mustang LX
New member into
Hey, just checking in here. I'm interested in getting yet another F-body when the new Camaro comes out... though I doubt me or anyone else will be able to afford one with this economy. The Cobra Guys at SVTPerformance were whining about how stupid slow the 2010 Mustang was going to be, when someone there said, "If you like the new Camaro so much... why don't you join LS1.com."
So I did. I'm a domestic car guy first. I grew up in Detroit MI, and most of my family has worked automotive for the last four generations. Most of them were GM employee's, though I had a few at Dodge and Ford. I somehow wound up working in finance here in Phoenix, but I still wrench on the weekends.
Below are some pics of my current and past rides, just to give you an idea of what I have worked on. I actually think I can post up a pic or two of Mr Lous' ride before the mods started on it. Enjoy peoples....
Current Cars-
2007 Cadillac CTS
1990 Mustang LX
Previous cars-
2006 Mustang GT /unSaleen
2003 Cobra
1995 Thunderbird
1996 Z28 M6
1995 Z28 A4 (with my sister about 15 years younger)
1990 Firebird
1979 Camaro Z28 M4
There's a few more cars in the mix... an 84 Cutlass, a 90 Firebird, a 91 T-bird and so on, but that should be enough. Like I said, I'd love to get into a new SS when they're out in a year or two. I'll probally sell the 90 LX to get a down payment. To be honest... I'm sort of sick of the stang guys.

We used to do repo's for First National Bank when I lived in Michigan. We got an 04 Cobra w/a full system, pulleys, and programmer. All I got to say is HOLY SHIT!!!!! That thing had sick power. I had a 12.30's drag car and that cobra would have stopped it. Any way, welcome and very nice rides.

Thanks. The Cobra was my dream car... especially with the S/C with Denver's altitude. I took out a Ferrari 360 when it was stock, and got a few Z06's and Viper's with it. In the end, it had exhaust, a tune, pullies and some N20. It ran an 11.53 @ 129 here in Phoenix.

Welcome
WOW, you've owned a lot of cars I see. I'm a former mustang owner myself. I like both ford and chevy, but I have to say I've been much happier with my bird than I was with the stang. Welcome to the site.

I'm pretty much the same way. I grew up in Detroit... so I'm a domestic guy. I didn't post all the cars I've owned, actually. I've had a few more stangs, firebirds and T-birds. As long as it's American with a V8, I'm pretty happy. I also like the 4th gen F-body better then my S197... but I think the Fox bodies are the easiest to work on of all the rides I've owned.
