New Member from FL
Hello everyone,
I just joined. I do not have an SL1 car yet. I have a bike that I hope to sell and save some more money to put with it and later this year find a Camaro. Until then I will just research this board and read all of the post I can.

That's what I want....a 6SP and an SS. I plan on taking my bike to a shop to sell on consignment, then hopefully save up some money. I'll start here on these boards. Seems to be few slightly Modded cars for sale reasonably. I currently drive a lifted 2500 Avalanche, so the gas savings will be a big welcome, too

dont think you'll get great gas mileage unless you stay on the interstates,
mine is getting about 18mpg with a superchips programmer??????? and i drive it on backroads to and from work to beat traffic. and yes i'll hit the interstate to open her up from time to time. it's alot of fun to drive i have the 2:73 rearend and i rarley ever need 6th til you want to run 90 or more.

From what I know when people want to upgrade the gears for drag racing in a automatic trans they go with 3:73 gears (the gears a m6 comes with stock) in a M6 they go with 4:11 gears

As far as gas milage these cars do pretty well considering. If you keep your foot out of it - it does even better gas wise but thats hard to do!
