New member, exhaust question?
Whats up duuuuudes,
just got my ws6 about 2 months ago and i love everything about her, all stock, 2002, and 42000 miles. my first order of business is exhaust to get her sounding mean, i love cars but am not a pro by any means, i was just woundering if i should go full the catback or just a muffler, and what brand should i go with, i heard slp loudmouth is legit, but ive always heard borla is good, any recommendations? appreciate the help!!!
p.s. good to be here

Pewter- 1999 Camaro SS-M6 #1775
Welcome!
Ive got the Magnaflow Stainless Catback on my car, it flows very well and i couldn't be happier.
Sounds great and has a great price tag on it.
The Borla is a very good system, if i had the $900 i may have gotten it instead1999 Camaro SS/ Pewter/ #1775 - LS1 6-speed - Predator 3 Custom Tune - Pro 5.0 - LS7 Clutch - 3.90's - Koni's - Strano Springs and Sway Bars - SFC's - Full UMI Chassis and Suspension - LS6 Intake PnP TB - ARH LT's and Kitty Ran Away - Magnaflow.

well none right now, i just got my t/a and now i'm a struggling college student trying to get just the car paid for. i just want to know what to get so i can check out prices and have a goal to shoot for. i used to have a 92 camaro and i had flowmaster on it, it had this mean low beefy bubbly sound, and i want to get the t/a sounding that way, but everything i've heard doesn't really have to deep sound to it, so i was just woundering what was the best, and if i should get the whole cat back system, or just a muffler

Go extra cheap take it to an exhaust shop just y the pipe deleting the muffler. might cost you $100? save the money for some headers. thats what i did trust me it scares away alot of fake ricers. I dont have a sound clip but Its not that loud till you get on it
