Black- 1987 Grand National
New Member From Chicago
Hello, I joined LS1.com a few weeks ago and have been lurking ever since. I used to own a 2002 WS6 but sold it a few years ago due to needing a "family" car. I am now in the market for a 2001 or 2002 WS6 or Camaro SS.
My current rides are:
1. 2005 Cadillac Escalade
2. 2003 Nissan Maxima
3. 1987 Buick Grand National (Long time project, 90% done)
Here are a couple of pics.

Welcome! A Grand National is about the only car I would ever consider trading our T/A for... they are incredible. Here are a few things to consider since you are in the market: http://www.ls1.com/forums/showthread.php?t=118628
Good luck on the search!

Welcome! I used to travel down Lake Cook road through Buffalo Grove every day for work...now I moved to the middle of nowhere
I always liked Grand Nationals and the 83 - 87 Monte Carlo SS.

Black- 1987 Grand National
Don't remind me man, I miss the WS6 so much. I had to sell it for the sensible, family car a few years ago. The Maxima is a pretty nice, very smooth car but I miss the raw, low end torque of the LS1. If anyone wants a fully loaded 2003 Maxima SE "Titanium Edition", let me know...as it's got to go before I buy another LS1.

That Grand National is killer. Definitely in my top 5 dream cars.
Anyway, good to see another local on the site!

Black- 1987 Grand National
Thanks for the warm welcome guys and I appreciate the good words about my Grand National. I've owned it a few years and have been working diligently to restore it. It was my first love and I hope to keep it a long time. My 2nd love was the LS1 powered cars, had a WS6 before and now I'm leaning towards a Camaro...maybe even buying a new Camaro if the Z28 comes out.
