Hey,
I'm new to this site. Looking foward to using this forum. I made my profile mainly because I just bought an LS1 for my 71 Nova. I plan on using this forum as a guide on how to build it and with what parts aswell. I also bought a remanufactured 4L60E (which came with 2004 C5 internals, A TrailBlazer SS housing, and a stock 2004 C5 Torque Converter). But now I would rather have a T56 transmission instead. Hope to hear everybody's opinion on my build as it progresses.Last edited by Josh_J; 04-14-2011 at 01:24 AM. Reason: Details added

Thanks. Since I've stripped my Nova, I was thinking of sanding it down and painting it just to prevent the rust on the firewall from spreading. It's not much but I'd rather stop the rust from spreading now before it gets any worse. Also, sanding the car down would also expose any other potential body problems too right? I don't know much about body work (I don't know anything about body work actually) but I do know I wan't to do everything to my car myself. Kind of like a big learning experience. Also, to put something up for sale here I have to have like 100 posts or something right?

Yes, you need to be a member for at least 90 days and have a minimum of 100 post to sell parts
Hope that sanding her down doesn't reveal any other issues. But, best to find out early if there are any.
