Welcome! For the rear, a good quality 80W-90 with limited slip additive is probably your best bet. Are you having issues? The stock rear in our cars is not all that great.

Engine oils: Amsoil and Penzoil Platinum are pretty much the top two choices on here.

Welcome aboard, congrats on the car and there are differing opinions on oil around here as is with most things. Just read up and decide which you feel would better suit your overall circumstances.

Oil is like water... some people prefer bottled, some well water, some city water... etc... As long as you change it frequently, and maintain your car, you'll be in good shape. I'll probably be for saying that
I run OEM trans fluid, always have. And I run synthetic axle fluid in my rear.
Just look around, read up on it and make a choice. If you ask 10 different people, you're going to get 10 different answers.
And of course, welcome to LS1.com.

5W-30 for the oil. I went with NGK TR55 plugs and MSD wires on our car. You can get the Delco Iridiums, which have a longer life span, but they are a bit pricey.

Well, the link I gave you was for a show. But, SoCal Muscle is a club and I know they have meets. Not sure how often though.
Sorry, not to familiar with anything out your way. But, if I hear of anything, I'll let you know.
