Hello everyone,
My name is Maks and im from San Diego. I Just bought a 2001 SS camaro and wanted to join LS1.com. Everytime I had questions regarding camaros I would come here and see what you guys had to say so I just wanted to see what people would recommend for me to do first as an upgrade to my car?

Greetings! A good first mod is the addition of an aftermarket air lid and/or subframe connectors.

Welcome to the site. My first mod was an air intake and exhaust, you have to get her to sound good
2002 Camaro SS/M6. Volant CAI, 80mm TB w/spacer, cat delete w/ ory, borla XR-1 w/ cme, custom tune, 3.73's, 8,000k HID headlights and foglights, 19" staggered ruff 278 wheels.

It has some kind of exhaust that sounds good but I can't tell what it is. I got all the way under the car and it has no logo anywhere. I was thinking of an air intake and headers, but don't really know what kind of headers to get.

Long tubes are what most everyone runs. Pricewise: At the top of the pile you have Kooks and ARH, in the middle would be Pacesetters and Hooker, and at the bottom are the e-bay Option Racing and OBX brands. The only ones I have heard of problems with are SLP as they hang pretty low, but that may have been remedied in their current version. Lots of other brands to choose from as well.

Ok thanks, That's good to know cause a friend of mine was offering me some SLP headers for pretty cheap but i've heard from a number of people say thay they are pretty bad and make the car sound raspy with an exhaust.

G'day and welcome.
It's not how fast you can go. It's how fast you can get there.
