    New 'maro in town w/ a question...

    Hey guys and gals, I just stumbled across this site...it's awsome! So, of course I had to join.

    Last month I purchases a 2002 Z28. It does have a cam in it and an obvious shift kit (auto), though I am not sure what the specs are. Other than that, it is pretty much stock (that'll change real soon).

    My question is... I installed an SLP Drive Shaft Safety Loop incase that front U-joint gives way. Problem is now that under full throttle, the motor torques, the trany twists, and the drive shaft hits the loop!!!

    I am waiting for my new Trany and Motor mounts to ship. They are the Prothane Polyurethane mounts.

    Has anyone ever experienced this? Do you think this will fix it?

    Let me know, I'm heading to the track (Gateway International) on May 10th and need to get the car ready for the baseline run!!!

    yes this should take care of the problem......however, it just may be the driveshaft is out of balance....needs to be weighted and good to go.....however, do the bushings 1st and see if that fixes the problem....If I were you I'd put a stall in it while you are there...Make a big difference...Good Luck and welcome to the site
