New man aboard

I just found this site, and figured I'd hop aboard. I bought a '99 TA, black A4, last year from a family that bought it for their 16 year old kid when he got his license. He lost the license after less than 6 months. Needless to say I got a good deal on the car. I have had 4 previous f-body's, a '69 Camaro SS 350 with a '70 LT-1 in it, an '84 Z-28 305 HO/A4, an '86 IROC-Z 305TPI/A4 and an '88 IROC-Z 350TPI/A4 as well as an '86 Monte Carlo SS. The '99 flat out beats any other car I've driven in both handling and acceleration. I love this thing. I used to drag race the '69, best time of 14.05 at something like 98mph (its been 20 years, and I don't have the slips anymore) I know this car can beat that.
The car is pretty much stock, just a Hooker cat-back system and K & N filter. The kid had an SLP Loudmouth system on the car that I thought was great, untill I took the car onto the highway for the first time. Just a bit too loud for my taste, I could not hear my passenger, or the radio. The Hooker system is much more to my liking, deeper rumble than stock, but not too loud. Next up, 17 or 18" rims and a WS-6 type hood.
