    New LS1 from LT1

Hey everyone, Just got my first LS-1 car. Previously had a 94 LT-1, loved that car, but it was time to upgrade. It's still winter, so I've only driven it to my garage so far, definitely noticed way more power up top than the LT. Looking forward to doing some mods.

Yeah, welcome. I know the LT1 feels stronger off the line, but the LS1 has a LOT more power over 3500.

That is what it felt like to me. Almost sluggish compared to the lt-1 at low RPM's, which had me nervous at first. It is so good high RPM's however that I knew the tuning was fine. It's better for drivability anyways, I may just have to do a few mods for the low end, just to make myself feel better.
