    New to LS1.com

New owner of a 02 Black WS6. New to the LS1 game. I had a 94 T/A a while ago, but it seems there are many things I still need to learn upgrading from a LT1. Looking to upgrade the hell outta this thing shortly. All it has right now is a Borla Catback on it. Just ordered the Volant intake with the 2 cones and next week ill be ordering BBK LT's w/ ORY. Anymore suggested bolt ons to pick up a few more bolt on ponies?

Right out of the gate you're on the right path. Most people will say stick with a high flow lid as opposed to the cone style filter, but to each their own. You'll notice a huge surge once you get those headers on and the engine can breathe a little better. If you don't plan on doing any more serious mods very soon, I'd say get a dyno tune next.

Best of luck to you and welcome to LS1.com!

If you plan on doing a cam / head swap fairly soon after, I'd say hold off on the tune until then. If those mods are further down the road, do a tune. You definitely want to get your secondary O2 sensors tuned out as well as your AIR and EGR system tuned out. Headers seem to complicate those systems and you throw and SES light.
