New guy from Missouri
As the title says, I'm from Marshall, MO, 21 in February. Reason I joined this ad is I'm looking at a black 1998 ws6 (http://kansascity.craigslist.org/cto/2025296386.html) and was wondering if maybe you guys can help me on what to look for. Currently I own a 1995 mustang cobra and have been looking into LS1 cars again (owned a Camaro before) Does the WS6 come with some kind of special certification like the SVT's do or no? Any help and tips would be greatly appreciated, Thanks!

Very nice looking WS6. It should come with some certification from ASC.

Just got off the phone with the guy, kinda put him through a little interview. Nothing has ever been rebuilt on the car, all original 85k. He gave the exterior a 9 out of 10, T-tops dont leak. For exhaust he has longtubes, Magnaflow cats, and flowmaster catback, says the tires are in great shape, no chips in the glass, $1800 sound system, no major rips or stains, he told me he didnt know about any kind of certification but said he would look into it, says it shifts fine, he had to do a headlight mod to the passenger side (flip the gear 180) the only down is itll need an A/C compressor which he got quoted as a $750 repair, but being winter time that can wait, theyve had the car for 2 years. Going to look at it this Friday when I get my side skirt back from the body shop on my Cobra
