New guy here
Hey guys. My name is Chris, i'm a senior in high school. I drive a '98 z28 a4 (see sig for details) and also have a '83 Z28 that i am currently restoring. I like hanging with my girlfriend and friends, and tinkering with my cars and driving them. That's about it!

Thanks man! The '83 was my first car and will always be #1 in my heart. Got her when i was 14 and she was rough. Didn't do much with her till i about turned 16. Summer of '08 dropped in a fresh 10.5:1 compression 355 w/comp .480 lift cam, fully reconditioned bottom end w/dome top .030 over pistons, ported/polished 417x vette heads, edelbrock performer rpm intake, edelbrock carb, hooker shorty's w/y pipe and 3" exhaust into a dumped bullet. I was naive and didn't know about body work yet and took her to some jackass who painted her for 800 bucks and didn't do a good job. BUT since i turned 16 she's been my total pride and joy and i have driven the shit out of her. It's been over two years now, and a little over a month ago i pulled her into my auto body shop and began tear down. As of now, all interior is stripped, awaiting new black interior, and the bodywork is now being done right by me and is about 50% complete. The trans ate shit the day i drove her to the shop so i am pulling it and having it rebuilt and beefed up while she's down for bodywork. Rear end is just a 3.23 limited slip out of another 3rd gen, i know its not the greatest but hey it was only 50 bucks and better than the 1 tire fryer i had lol. Plans are to paint her sunset orange metallic w/black fender stripes. I am very excited for her to be done!

Thank you very much man. Yea i love them both, 4th gens are decently common around here but 3rd gens not so much and the ones that are around her are just POS beaters. I like the unique factor of having a 3rd gen around here and it actually being nice, it gets a lot of comments and it didn't even have that great of a paint job. The '98 is in pretty good shape considering its age and the fact that the previous owner before me owned her for 6 years and worked construction every day..and this was the vehicle he drove to the work sites!

Well good luck looking man. They're pretty cheap to come by. Even the ones that are actually kinda nice aren't very high priced.
