    New guy to this forum

I am probably not the typical guy to come here. I am interested in the LS1, which is what brought upon this site, but I am looking to drop into my Jeep Wrangler. Are there any others here that have done this, or are we all the sports car type?

Welcome! You are not alone... we have lots of swap artists on here. Most recent one I recall was a LS1 transplant into a Dodge Truck.

Just noticed where you hail from. My brother lives in Anchorage, runs around in a turd yellow '66 Porsche 912. Beautiful part of the country you live in - we are overdue on our next visit.

I moved here in Decemeber and have yet to see the "beautiful" part everyone keeps telling me about. Ok, that is a bit of a lie. This place is gorgeous, but this summer has been all rain and clouds. I have been a little disappointed. Maybe next year will be better.

One of our trips was like that -- we could only see glimpses of Flat Top and the surrounding mountains the whole time we were there. Where did you move from?

Sometimes I forget we have mountains here. I moved from northern Utah. The scenery has not changed too much. There are few more moose in the roads here.

Don't care too much about the lawn to justify paying for sprinklers.... oh well, it will all be back in the spring time.
