New Guy from Austin TX
I have been on LS1 Tech for awhile but just recently got on here. Everyone seems to have a lot of knowledge and very little drama unlike some members of tech. I have a '99 Z28 M6 with 186K miles, bought from the original owner with 184K. Motor is 100% stock and still running strong. I put a Hurst shifter in the car due to the factory unit had turned in to a sloppy boat ore. I have also done a full suspension rebuild and upgrade including Koni on-car adjustables, Strano springs, Spohn tubular adj. pieces in the rear, as well as ball joints and bushings. My next up coming project is to put a new oil pan gasket on and just continue driving and enjoying the car.
Even with the high mileage the car still wears all of its factory panels and paint. The interior is a solid 8 out of 10. Considering this is an 11 year old American sports car it has held up very well.
