The New Guy
Hey guys, whats up? I'm Chuck, just like Norris...(classic joke). Anyway, I have a 1992 S10 that is my pride and joy. It's my first vehicle and I have had it for about 2 and a half years. In that time I have dropped about $4500 into it. It wasn't me initial plan, but after the first wreck that she got into I decided to put that insurance money to good use! My plans for her are to toss an LS1(not stock) in it, put an M21 behind it, and run that back to a Detroit Locker. Sad thing is, she'll never grip. Sand bags anyone? Don't know on the gears yet. I hope to hold on to the truck for as long as I can. Hopefully that all works out.
Here is a before and after shot. 1st is May 2008, 2nd is May 27, 2010
Glad to be here, thanks guys!

Welcome! An LS1 in that thing would be a real sleeper! But I imagine you're right, you'd have to keep the back full of sand bags or something for sure, or else you'd be skipping all over the road!
Whatever you do, have fun, welcome to the site. I've seen a few threads from folks here who have put LS1s into other vehicles...

Yeah, It will be one heck of a project to get it done. When it gets done, though, it will be worth all the work.
