    1998, A4, T-TOP, Trans Am

    New To Forum and LS1's

    What is up all? My name is Corey. I just picked up my 98 Trans Am from my mom this weekend. It has 152K on it. I paid 5500 for it. It is in pretty good shape just needs new paint and a tune up. I don't have any pictures for it yet, but will take some tomorrow if the weather holds. I have a set of 18" American Racing wheels on the way and a SLP cold air intake, SLP front strut bar and waiting on the Bilstien shocks to come off back order because I already have the eibach springs that lowers it 1.2". This is my first LS1 so if some of my questions I come up with seem very redundant or goofy that is why.

    Thanks for the welcomes. A little bit more about me.

    I am in the AF. I have been in about 7 years. I just came off a long tour in Okinawa, Japan. I was heavily into tunning cars over there and when I got back here wanted to get back into it but it is just to expensive to tune imports. So when my mom got her new car and she offered me a decent deal on the T/A I took her up on it. I didn't get to take any pictures today, to busy cursing SLP and the crappy STB I got from them. Calling them back tomorrow to try and work something out.
