    New to forum

New to the forum just wanted to put something out. I recently bought a 98 ws6 TA with AFR 225's, comp cam, ls6 intake, and 39# injectors. I currently run E85 with help from my HP tuner. I was looking for an 05 mustang when I found this and I have to admit I love it. I like the idea that the LS1 is a pushrod v8 that can turn big rpm's and still lug around town with no problem.

Welcome. Down here we run E10 mandatory but there is E85 available. What are your thoughts on it? I'm getting the HP tuners so this might be an option.

    Smile running e85

I picked up almost 2 mile an hour in the eigth and knocked off a tenth. The car runs better than it did when I bought it. I added 2 degrees of timing across the board and woke the car up off the line. Another thing I like about e85 is the smell, pump gas stinks but e85 smells sweet and doesn't run you out of the garage. HP tuners site has several threads on tuning e85 but all I did at first was change my schoich value from 14.7 to 9.68. I ran the car low on gas, drove to the pump with the lap top, filled it up with e85, and changed the schoich value. After a some nervous seconds and a rough idle it smoothed out and I drove away. With no other changes it ran just fine for the next couple days untill I started changing my tune to take advantage of the 105 octane.
