My last Camaroooo
Greetings from California,
First, a '73' gold camaro V-8 auto then my trans am days ('78' and '82' black riccaro) Then a number of years with varying champions like a 1987 "T" type Buick and somewhere in there a 1970 442 Olds which I was the second owner at 68k miles (I think it went through Barrett Jackson recently and that means I sold it a little cheap) Then 4 wheel drives, all Chev. of coarse. Then when I returned I ordered a 1997 white w/grey interior 5 speed beautiful camaro which I wore out and replaced with a 1999 beautiful Z28 which I wore out now my 2002 SS has 76,000 miles and I have nervous twitch's since I can't replace it. What will I do? I raised three boys in these camaro's and in spite of the inconvenient seating arrangements, uncomfortable long trips they agreed the neckbraking torque and second to none burnouts were always more important than comfort. The street races are frequent memories that we still share and maybe I should be ashamed of, who knows! Anyway, my wifes car was always a second choice for there comfort. (2001 6 speed purple w/black leather int.Trans Am.) Long story for you, real concern for me. Thanks, Dan B.

Hey there and welcome to the site! It's truly a shame that they killed off the f-bodies after 2002, very poor decision in my opinion. Well, in terms of what to do after your current 4th gen. cars are gone....you'll soon be able to purchase the '09 camaro! Pretty crappy that they're bring back the camaro but not the trans am....
