Making the move

I'm planning to make the move from a Vette to a Camaro this summer, so I thought I'd check in here to pick up tips and tech suggestions, as well as perhaps find someone who's looking to swap in the opposite direction. (will post in the FS and Wanted sections if my privs here allow).

Background - I grew up working on my own cars 'cuz I didn't have $$ to pay someone to do it for me. Now I can afford to have someone to do it for me, but still want to do the work myself.

The Vette is a great, and I mean GREAT car, but the rear transmission setup make doing your own work a good bit more complicated. So I'm in the market for a Camaro now...

Thanks for the welcomes folks.

Not sure that I'll end up being very active - I'm about to pull the trigger on an LT1... If I get it I'll probably be looking for a general Camaro/Fbody/LT1 site I guess...

Wish me luck- I'm looking at a 1998 SS convertible tomorrow.

Then I'll just have to get serious about selling my 2003 Vette - 6 cars is just too many...
