    LS1 in a C3

I have just installed an LS1 in my 1980 Vette. I'm using the stock 80 model tach wired to the Computer that came with the LS1. It registers 50% of what it should. Was anyone had this issue, did you use an aftermarket tach interface to resolve the issue? If so what manufacture interface has been successful? Any other info on this would be appreciated.

Welcome to the site! Might want to try and post your question in a different section so the guys will actually look at it not many people actually come to the new member section. Good luck with the build though

    LT1 in a 76

Check out the attached link detailing the LT1 put in my 76 Corvette:

    http://www.vetteworksonline.com/LT1%20conversion.htm

Dan is the owner of the company the link goes to and is an electronic wizard. He is putting a LS1 in a 68 or 69 currently.

    Hope this helps.
