red- 2000 trans am
ls1 blues
hello folks iam brand knew to this site and also brand knew to trouble shooting these motors the subject 2000 trans am 5.7 fuel injected 14000 miles still smells knew one minute it was runing the next not. ive ruled out the fuel system it has spark but will not start. it has been on two diagnostic machines and no codes come up ahh! has anyone had or heard of this problem ? open to suggestions thanks and great to be here

Welcome, Welcome, Welcome!
1. What kind of gas are you using? I use 93 unleaded from Shell or BP
2. Check your spark plug wires and make sure they're tight with the coil packs and the plugs.
3. Did you do any modifications that it just suddenly stopped working after?
4. Check all wires you possibly can and under the hood make sure every thing is plugged in.

does it crank or nothin at all???? starter maybe??

There is a possibility that your problem could have something to do with the PASSkey alarm system. If the system is triggered, it can disable the ignition and prevent the car from starting. If you have the owners manual, that would be a good reference for symptoms.
Did you disconnect the battery recently or get a new key made??
Just something to look into.

thanks for the replys yes it cranks it almost wants to fire if it sets for a while but only once than it will just crank ? tried the spare key. checked every wire and plug i could get my hands on they all seem in good condition grounds appear good also when it quite the left front head light wont open it lights but wont open all fuses are good ? havent done any mods to car still factory. just tested the coil packs i have power but not getting a blinking lite with the test light just stays lite ?

try the bang bang method hahaha, take your hand and kinda slap the top of your steering column(the plastic part behind the steering wheel) slap that a couple times and then put the key in and c... might be dirty or jammed
I really don't know man.
I hope you figure it out.
