Have a rattle in my ls1, push rods lifters and rockers been replaced tried smaller cam, but still it rattles, good result on compresson test still producing good rwhp, any ideas?

hello...you will want to post this in the internal engine section to get more hits..however..could it be lifter tap you are hearing ?? is it a rattle or a taping noise?..i know my cat just basically fell apart inside itself and made a rattle noise like it was coming from the engine.
