Aloha everyone I just signed up and I know nothing about the LS1 or LT1.
Need to learn a lot so i'll be checking out your existing tech forums. Planning on building a 34 Ford Vicky with an LS1. If anyone has done this or knows someone who has please let me know. I live in Hawaii and am looking forward to starting my project. So thanks for viewing my post and hope to make some new friends out there.

Hey bud, welcome!
I know there are a few folks here that have done LS1 conversions on non-LS1 cars, but I don't specifically remember anyone talking about a old classic like that! Sounds like a sweet project!
Good luck, have fun, post lots of pictures are you progress!

Welcome to LS1.com! Sounds like a very interesting project. Please keep us updated.
As said, there have been quite a few transplants done, but, not sure about such an early model Ford. Would love to see your progress on that.
Enjoy the site

Hey Andy! Looks and sounds like you have a nice ride your self. When I get this site figured out i'l get some pictures on to share. I'm just finishing a 36 Ford PU, that's what I plan to put an LT1 or LS1 in. I need to find the difference in the two motors and decide what to go with. Then when I learn about those engines I will put one in the 33 I'm planning.
Aloha for now, and thanks for the welcome.

Hey! ThunderChicken, I wish I didn't have to go through such a big learning curve with these computer engines. I was always old school and stuck with the old fashion carburetors, but I'm making the adjustment.
Aloha for now

Aloha Y2KArcticSS!
I think he must be prince of darkness by blood for the bats he bit the heads off of and sucked their blood. Any way there sure are a lot of friendly guys on this forum, I'm really feeling welcome.

I have to admit, I didn't realize you were female til I went back and read the members list. It is good to see women involved in the sport we men have enjoyed all our lives. Stay cool
Aloha

Aloha 35th-ANV-SS!
You know winter time is my favorite time in Hawaii. On weekends in the morning we sit out side on our lani thats Hawaiian for deck or porch, and have coffee or breakfast. That's after watching the morning news and seeing the freezing winter weather around the country. Watching football of coarse. Anyway what turned me on to the computer motor is i've had a 92 corvette for a couple of years, but just started driving it. It runs sooo nice. After spending 6K on a crate motor for my Hot Rod, and it runs rough and wants to stall because of too big a cam. I prefer the ride I get from my Vette. I know there are fixes for these problems, but I'm using it as an excuse to start my next project and keep involved. Well i've rambled long enough so i'll end here. Once again thanks for the nice welcome.
