    01 Trans Am WS6

    Question just got my 01 WS6

    just got my ws6 and took it out to the track. I ran a 13.9, I was just wondering if thats a decent time for a stock m6 ws6 with street tires and whats the bets way to improve my times

    thats not a bad time, but mostly everyone runs low to mid 13's with stock M6 cars. I think your times are higher becuase you just got the car. Once you perfect your driving skills you will be 13.5 or lower easily.

    also what was your trap speed and 60'?

    Like asked above, what was your 60' and your trap speed?

    The first and easiest way to improve times is an aftermarket lid, long tubes & catback, SFCs and maybe a short throw.

    my 60 was 2.36 and my mph was 102. I took off kind of slow because on my first run I spun my tires like crazy.

    Once you get your 60' down, your ET and MPH will be right in line with what it should be.

    once you know how to launch better you should see 2.0-2.1 on street tires
