    98 ss ragtop

    just bought 98ss

    Hi, just bought a 98 ss ragtop. need some parts to get it back on the road, oilpan, drivers taillight, drivers doorpanel and switches, fuel cap, ls6 intake, and panhard. Also want to do some mods. It's an auto. Was thinking 3600 stall, headers, y pipe, catback, ls6 intake, 228/228 texas perf and speed cam, and possibly stage 2.5 texas perf and speed heads. Any ideas or reccomendations. Still want it to be real streetable but mid to high 11's. Any advice appreciated, new to fuel injected performance. Thanks

    welcome, TSP 228 is a great cam with a good powerband for a daily driver. Watch out for the pathetic 10 bolt rear end in these cars they are the weak link. Other than that sounds like a good project.
