Angry I need some tech help! New here!

Well, my '02 camaro is out for the count. I have a p0300 random mult. misfire code and it sounds like a motor boat going down the road. I'm taking it to a buddy's shop on Monday to get a better idea of what's wrong. He says that he thinks a spark plug blew out of the head. Is this common? I am now learning that this LS1 motor is an expensive beast and am looking for a cheaper way out.

No, I don't believe this is a common problem at all.But if a plug came out, the spark plug wire would be hanging free with the plug still connected (or not )but would be easy to see-you dont need to take it anywhere-look for yourself. Maybe a wire came off the plug and you could put it back on.

I dont see any plugs hanging out. The noise sounds like I blew out a cat or a manifold, but there are no signs of that either. I used to be a tech for about 6 years, so I have checked the easy stuff.
The car is an 02 Z28 with a Hurst shifter, lightened slp flywheel, centerforce clutch, slp cold air kit, diablo tune, and maf sensor, Corsa cat back exhaust.
Do you know if the 243 heads will fit my 241 head motor?
