[LS1 AND GTI]

Im a current MKV GTI owner (Don't me). Its a great car for daily driving, and with a stage 2 flash, throttle pipe, and downpipe its a quick little car.

Quick. Now I'm picking up a second car to make more than quick. I plan on a 98 Z28 or trans (I believe a Z can be had cheaper, so probably that) to modify. I've been reading the forums for a while and have always been a fan of the LS1 cars, but wanted one as a second car, not a first as once I start modifying it the daily drivability and gas mileage will fall pretty quickly.

Just thought I'd introduce, cheers. Oh yea, name is Matt and I am finishing up my undergrad this year then starting at USF med school to begin the next 4 years of hell so that I can become an MD and have about 6 more years of hell in residency. All my acceptances are out of the way so I'm getting the car to congratulate myself.
