    Hi from Scotland

    Hi,
I'm in the process of buying an LS1 engine/box for my long term pro street Morris Minor project, so I thought it may be sensible to come here for any advice needed.
Up to now, the build centred round a Ford 351 cleveland engine which I had cut out of a Mach 1 Mustang, but upon dismantling the engine recently found it needs a full rebuild. so I thought, bite the bullet and get something modern, hence the LS1.
Hopefully I've done the right thing, but time will tell.

I stay in Broughty Ferry near Dundee in Scotland and am into fast bikes and Morris Minors - strange combination I know.

A few pics of my project:

Very cool project. You can't go wrong with the LS1. Tons of aftermarket upgrades, power is great, and lighter than the old 351. Keep posting pics of the progress. I would love to find one of those over here for something a little different!!

I spoke to the engine seller tonight to finalise what exactly I need.
    Here's the list.

1998 LS1 engine from a Corvette, complete with auto box, engine/gearbox mounts, front part of prop shaft, Radiator, ECU and wiring loom, and headers.

The engine is a complete cut out, and he assures me that everything will be there, but is there anything I have missed that I would need or would be useful?

    Cheers
