Hi, my names Joe. Right now I own a 2005 SRT-4 but am getting ready to sell it and looking to get into a LS1 trans am hopefully a ws6. So yea, any tips on what to look for on a used one would be great. Or if you know anyone looking for a srt-4 let me know.

we have one srt convert running around here now in a gto. Look for a 99+ if funds allow it as it has better oiling and a better pcm if you have it tuned down the road. Check the rear pinion seal as those like to leak.

the lsx engines in general are very very durable motors. If anyone was going to say any were less durable than the others it would be the 98's....which is what I have. I have 92k on mine with heads/cam and it's lived a hard life. Starts and runs just as easy now as it did when I bought it....only now it has lope.
