Hi from Canada
Thanks for letting me join this nice site. I am looking forward to learn more about LS1 engine. I just did a complete restoration on a 1999 Trans Am Convertible. Before that I restored a 1987 Iroc but I like the 4th generation better. Especially the performance. I hope I can learn a little bit about the LSI engine, because I am not very familiar with them. Thank you.

The car was a total loss vehicle that I purchased from insurance. It was a total write off from a fire under the hood. I had to replace the motor, tranny, all wiring, front suspension. I purchased a second 1999 Formula Trans Am WS6 package which was also a total loss vehicle with front end damage. I pulled everything from the second vehicle and put into the convertible. After about 200 hours of hard work it was finally complete. I still have to put on the decals, but am waiting for the weather to warm up a little. I have some before and after pictures, but not sure how to post them. If there is a way to post pictures let me know and I will post them.
