    Hi all...

New to the site, my name is Jay and I am from NH.
Hope to get to know you and share knowledge and answer each others questions.
I am new to LS1 as I have always had older muscle cars until now.

Welcome to the site, Jay. You're in good company around here. Several of us arrived here from the classic muscle generation

Welcome to the site! Your experience is very similar to both mine and Ms. Reef's -- we were both old school.

Correction... "gal and guy" would be more appropriate. The learning curve is a little steep on our cars, it took me a while and quite a bit of reading on here to get up to speed -- literally. Any mods on your car currently?

He'd have figured it out sooner or later And I agree on the learning curve. I'm still not up to speed. But, know a whole lot more than I did when I first got here

Haha.. my apologies! Yes, it has Lingenfelter heads and intake, long tubes, NX direct port nitrous system and Corsa exhaust. Clutch is s;ipping now, think the slave is leaking fluid on it. Too bad, it's the Mcleod twin disc set up and very $ to replace. (as I know you know)

Thanks! Not sure I would want to run what you are bringing to the table there! I noticed it was slipping when I locked the line lock and pulled second gear. Actually thought it was tire smoke for a second and realized it was clutch smoke... stink!
    Anyway, thanks for the words.

I'm still running semi-slow -- 12.43 so far on an all stock engine. I made the decision to build our car from the back to the front, so it started with the suspension, rear, exhaust and driveline. Next mod will be a cam and maybe heads so I can get into the 11's, plan on keeping the car N/A, at least for now.

Thanks. How does yours run at the track? I assume the line lock is for more than just smokey burnouts...

I haven't run it yet. I need to do a rear or at least a gear swap. It did dyno at 422 RWP though. So I am pleased with that, did not dyno with the spray though.
Car only has 20k on it so I dont want to cut it all up. only bolt on mods.
