Hi
Hi my name is Mike and I live in Auburn Wa just south of Seattle. I just found this site by looking for info on the LS1 in my pewter '99 SS Camaro coupe, top is black. I used to drive different chevelles and have always been a chevy fan, the chevelles are long gone but not the need for another fast car. A friend of mine got into a 98 SS camaro that he no longer has (traded in on a really nice vette). It wasn't too long after that I found my car on craigslist and have been the proud owner for just over a year. I'm hoping to get some ideas and look forward to coresponding others on this site. I don't yet know how to upload pics but will be looking into it soon.

Mike! Welcome to LS1.com
I am a Chevelle person too. I've had two. A 69, and a 69 1/2. To this day my favorite cars. But, mine are gone as well and I also had the need for another fast car.
That is also what brought me here.
I'm sure you'll find the information here very helpful. For me, my Camaro was a whole new world and there was a lot I didn't know about these cars
It's a great site, good to have you.
Here is how to upload pictures with Photobucket:

I think once most people get bit by the LS bug, they are hooked. I know I was.

G'day and welcome.
It's not how fast you can go. It's how fast you can get there.
