ive had a 11 second chevy pick up that i used to deliver pizzas in when i was in high school, sold it for a ford, then have missed going fast since LOL.
thanks for welcoming me into your community and i look forward to learning a vast amount of info from this site.
BUT, why can i not start a thead in any of the discussion forums?

G'day and welcome. You'll find all the info you could ever want here. Just ask away.
As for starting threads, I believe you need at least 10 post, and possibly some time, before you can do that. It cuts down on the spam posting. It's not how fast you can go. It's how fast you can get there.

Welcome to the site, Nick. You should be able to post in the Tech area. You'll need 10 posts in there before you can post in the AAG. I'm sure you'll find a lot of helpful information here.

No problem. You'll find that our cars all have a few common quirks - leaky pinion seals, cracked door panels and noisy engines on cold startup are probably the big three. Good luck in your search and feel free to ask all the questions you want.
