    Hey Guys...from Iowa

    Hello car nuts,

It's good to be here...to share and spread information, thoughts, and media.

I've been into F-body's for a number of years now. My first one was an 80 Z-28 which was in pretty rough shape. Instead of pouring my money to get the car solid, I decided to invest in a more solid car. That's where my 1979 TA (originally Sundance Yellow) w/ Olds 455 comes in. It's a solid driver and has been good to me.

I am in search of a First Gen. Firebird which I plan on placing an LS1 in, which brings me here.

I'm hoping to exchange knowledge with fellow enthusiast and I'm happy to be here.

Now who knows where I can get a solid LS1...LOL.

    Daniel

What makes the '68 stand out to you? I'm looking to buy a '69 Firebird (I believe) with a 400/400 combo #'s matching.

i'm not a fan of the 69's grill. it doesn't have the window thing like the 67's do, plus has side marker lights unlike 67's. it also has a larger fender well than what the 69's do, so you're somewhat limited on slicks unless you want to cut the fender.

    it's just beautiful
