hey guys
ok so i just sold my 80 camaro 4spd. yes i know im nuts but i got a bad shoulder from a work accident and well shifting the mighty m-21 didnt work out. i worked on all gm's for dealers for a few years so im familier with both engine options. so with that said i found 2 possibles. a 2000 camaro with a 3.8 that would leave me with about $4200 left over for mods, or a 2002 z28 that would leave me just around $3000. both are autos since i cant drive stick right now and if i need surgery i wont be driving stick for a long time.
so which would you get and what mods would you do with the leftover?

NBM / Silver- 00 SS / 71 SS Elcamino
Buy the Z trust me. I settled for a 2002 firebird v-6 a few years back (yes nice car, I liked it, only had 12,000 miles, Pewter) But, You can't beat the LS1. For $3,000 in mods you can do an awefull lot. Read these forums there is a lot of moding to be done. As I am sure you are well aware of, you engine needs to breathe. Put a slp lid on, K&N filter, Headers, new exhaust, New higher stall converter, Rear end gears just to name a few. Welcome and hope you are feeling better after your surgery.
