Hello from Sydney, Australia (need feedback)

I am from Sydney Australia and love Ls1/2 s. I have an '03 Holden Monaro (Pontiac GTO) Ls1 supercharged H122 which punches out approx 600 hp.

I also have a 1978 Z28 Chev Camaro with 350 chev 5 spd (about 400hp)

I have a general question about the new Camaro - apparently we will also be getting the beast down under, about 9 - 12 months after release in the US.

Does anyone know when it is being released in the US and deatils about the specs (engine options, handling package, etc...) ...???????

i'm pretty sure they will be shipping to aussy land and a few other places...

i'm not sure of the specs or options...

The gossip here is that it will come with the trusty LS2 6 litre & 6spd, however I am really hoping they release a 7 litre (in a reasonable price).

For whatever reason cars are quite expensive in OZ, although our fuel is relatively cheap compared to most countries (other than the US).

What is the general consensus in the US about the bringing back the Camaro ????

i'm hoping they throw in a LS9... that makes for some nice FI options...
