Hello, to the Red Bow-Tie community
I am not yet a owner of an LS1, it must be a bear of an engine. My '99 GMC pickup has the basic LR4, 4.8 Liter engine. I hope that some of the tips and talk on this forum will be helpfull to me, since my vortec is a first cousin of the LS1. Untill yesterday,I did not realize that the LS1 was an all alluminum engine. I will be asking a good many questions about it in future posts.
