Hello from Ohio
Sending out an SOS sorta speak.. I've always been a "car guy" but growing up in the city raised by a single mom, I've never had any mechanical guidance. Through the years I've watched and learned how to work on cars (mostly by trial and error then calling local mechanic). Now i'm at the point I think I'm ready to tackle my own "restoration/customization" build. Long story short.. I'm looking to do so with my fav design.. 1974 Pontiac Trans Am. If anyone knows of a T/A thats waiting for some TLC and rebirth. I'm interested.

Go to http://www.photobucket.com and open a free account. Upload your pics to that site. They changed it recently, but I believe you hit the "Share" button over the pic you want to post and codes will appear. You may still also be able to mouse over a picture and they will appear beneath it. Simply copy and paste the [IMG] code into your post on here. The picture will then appear after you "Submit Reply" to post your message.

Welcome to the site
You should check out the for sale section. Keep your eyes peeled on autotrader.com. You can set it up to get emails when one becomes available.

As far as pictures go, I use photobucket. Here is a writeup.

Good luck with your search

Thank you pafejj02! I was thinking that was going to have to be the way to go as well. That step will be next on my "to do" list. Cheers.
Also.. keep an ear out for T/A sales.. I'm looking for a beater to turn into a beauty. Willing to travel.

I'm located in the suburbs of Columbus, about 30 miles from Lancaster. The hood style I'm on the fence kinda.. As I like the shaker hood, the formula hood has it's benefits as well, for example being able to airbrush or apply the decal of the firebird. I know that can be done on a shaker hood too, but not the same effect ya' know?
Do you have a price quote from the someone you know? Since I'm looking for a project car, I'm not wanting to break the bank at the beginning, haha.
