    hello from a new member

Hey all..just wanted to say hello..

I am curious what people think is the biggest bang for their buck to increase the HP with the least amount of money..

    I have a 02 camaro LS1 engine..

Love the sound of the Thumpr cam..so that is in the works

Any recommendations for intake and heads ?

    Thanks in advance

    Welcome to the site!

Serious answer -- nitrous. For around $550 you can safely bump it up around 75 - 100 hp. Just have to be able to afford the refills. If that is not an option, you already have the LS6 intake which is a good piece from the factory. Headers and a decent exhaust setup will net you 25-30 hp, depending upon whether you go with a catted or non-catted Y-pipe. An air lid is generally good for around 10 hp and combine both of the above with a Frost mail order tune and you can get an honest 50 hp without cracking open your engine.

I agree with pajeff02. I would put about 1300.00 into a good set of LTH and a quality 3" exhaust system.
My ride is a 2002 Camaro SS SLP #3296 with 30k, LTH, 3" Y, CME, Frost tune, K&N, ported TB, Blackwing lid, Bellows, MSD, Denso Iridium, and 85mm MAF, Bilsteins, Eibach springs, SLP strut brace, Adj. Panhard, TA Girdle, UMI, Pro 5.0, Nitto NT555
My wife has a 2004 GTO with the rare SAP, 18" wheels, K&N Cold Air System, MSD, Ported TB, Frost tune, Denso Iridium, Flowmaster cat-back, 3200 Yank, 75k
