Blue- 1981 Pontiac Trans Am
Hello from Nebraska
Hi all,
Im from the Bellevue area south of Omaha Nebraska. I am currently deployed to Afghanistan but plan on performing a motor swap in my 1981 Trans Am when I get back. Shes in great shape and needs a strong replacement for her lowly 301. Im researching as much as I can on the process so if anyone has good info on how to cram an LS1 into a 2nd gen bird I would love it if you shared. Thanks!
(The puddle underneath is from washing it)

Welcome! There are companies that make both kits and wire harness adapters for installing LS1's in damn near anything these days. In addition to a good donor motor, you will need a PCM as well. Preferably a '99 or newer.
